By using ketocypher.com, joining the waitlist, or installing the KetoCypher Android app, you agree to these terms. They apply to whoever runs KetoCypher (referred to here as "we" or "KetoCypher") and to you, the user.

KetoCypher is a personal nutrition and biometric tracker for adults running a keto or carnivore diet. It is a wellness and self-tracking tool. It is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Nothing in the app, on this website, or in any communication from us is medical advice. If you are managing a medical condition, work with a qualified clinician.
You must be at least 13 years old to use KetoCypher, and old enough in your jurisdiction to enter a binding agreement. If you are under 18, use the service only with a parent or guardian's involvement.
You are responsible for your account credentials and your 12-word recovery phrase. The architecture is zero-access: we cannot read your data, and we cannot recover it for you if you lose both your password and your recovery phrase. Keep the recovery phrase somewhere safe.
One account per person. Do not share credentials.

The Free tier is free, with all in-app features. Premium Backup is a paid subscription that adds encrypted cloud backup. Pricing is shown on the landing page and inside the app at sign-up. We may change Premium Backup pricing over time; if we do, current subscribers get notice before any renewal at the new price, and can cancel before it takes effect.
Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the app's Settings. If you cancel mid-cycle, you keep Premium Backup features until the end of the current billing period; we do not pro-rate refunds for unused time unless required by your local law.
For Premium Backup subscribers, we store encrypted backup blobs on our servers. We retain up to 5 rolling versions per account. If your subscription lapses (cancellation, payment failure that is not resolved within a grace period), we delete the encrypted blobs. We will not "hold them for ransom" against a future re-subscription.
You can stop using the service at any time. You can delete your account by emailing [email protected] from the address on file. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, are clearly automated abuse, or are required by law. Where possible we will give notice first.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose. The accuracy of nutrition data, biometric correlations, and on-device insights is offered for personal informational use, not as medical or dietary prescription.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, KetoCypher is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Where liability cannot be excluded, our aggregate liability is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD $20.
If we change these terms materially, we will update the "Effective" date and call out the change at the top of this page. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved by good-faith correspondence will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Colorado, and you and KetoCypher consent to that venue.
